Ndsiwrapper -l showed as installed and hardware installed .

Network manager can see avail able networks but is unable to connect

syslog showed Time outs for the connection with both mac filtering on or off and with no encryption

Changed over to the B43 driver and extracted firmware , inserted Belkin pcmia Card Broadcom , with out ndiwrapper and all works fine and ruleing out Network or incorrect mac address's.

retried with the Linkys Card still nothing. Had no trouble at all with kubuntu 2.6.15

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. If you could test the current Ubuntu development version (10.04), this would help us a lot. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect 274118, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Please also provide us with the information about the chipset that is used with your Linksys card. Is it Broadcom? Or something else?

Have you managed to test it on Lucid (10.04) final?

Sorry , tried Lucid 10.04 but had to revert back to 9.04 on my netbook as 10.04 dose not support my Intel GMA500 video card driver.

The net card issue was resolved due to the fact that i stuck with B43 drivers (Belkin Card) and gave the linksys card away.
