OOWriter forgets contents of formulas

When writing a document with many formulas in oowriter, it sometimes forgets the contents of the formula. The bounding rectangle is drawn and kept the exact same, except that the formula is now replaced with a white rectangle and the contents (the actual formula code) is missing.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, , because your description didn't include enough information.

At a minimum, we need:
1. can you explain how to reproduce this bug?
2.the version of Ubuntu and the version of OpenOffice.org you are using.
3. I have tried to reproduce this and can not. The formula appears if I hit F2, otherwise, I can not see it.
