Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
This is running from the intrepid apha6 CD on amd64
the codec installer needs to be run twice, and then youtube videos will still not play until totem is restarted
1) boot live cd
2) lauch totem
3) enable youtube plugin
4) search for you favourite (kitten) video, double click the thubnail to start the video
5) codec installer pops up to install a video decoder. click through
6) totem tries to play the video again
7) codec installer pops up to install a audio decoder. click through
8) totem tries to play the video again,
9) codec installer pops up a 3rd time, but no packages listed. cancel it.
10) message that there is no codec for Sorenson codec
"The playback of this movie requires a Sorenson Spark Video decoder plugin which is not installed"
11) close and relaunch totem
12) youtube works fine
what should be different
if video and audio codecs are needed, then they should be installed at the same time.
if totem needs to restart, it should happen automatically
note this also happens with a full install

on a clean jaunty install everythinng was much smoother, i was only taken to the codec installer once, and the video played without needing to restart totem. good work thanks
