Bug Description
Binary package hint: okular
Kubuntu 8.10 with all upgrades.
In Okular open a DVI file created with LaTeX, nothing fancy, black and white text, which uses "times" font and open Thumbnails. When the size of the thumbnails is sufficiently big, the thumbnails look fine. When the size of the thumbnails is small, 40% of the area of the thumbnails becomes uniformly read (impossible to see the thumbnail). Not every DVI file with "times" font has this problem; it seems that the "density" of text per page should be big enough.
The problem does not concern PDF nor PostScript files.

Could you attach an example DVI file?
