Hi!
Starting level in Preferences dialog not work for me (in Intrepid Ibex alpha 5 updated in 21 september 2008).
Gnometris version 2.23.90.

This bug #138597 isn't fixed. But appear as fixed because the GNOME games appear as Released.

Yes, it's reproducible.
Run gnometris.
Go to Settings/Preferences menu.
Increment/decrement the "starting level".
Starting level not works.
