Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
I have Kubuntu 8.04. Before, with Kubuntu 7.10 I had firefox permanently open and it went up and down as I neede it without problems. Now all the operations with firefox get increasingly slow until every operation is a tortur. And when I will cancel firefox, mozilla shows its message that the mozilla-firefox window doesn't respond and if I will continue or close it. Naturally close!
I have loaded firefox with the Ubuntu installation and have also forced a re-installation with Adept. Nothing went better. I may use Konqueror that is fast and has no problems, but I like firefox

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.
