Bug Description

I have copied a text from a webpage from Epiphany, and created a new text file on the desktop and opened it with gedit. I tried to insert the text, but 'insert' item in the menu was inactive, Ctrl+v also did nothing. Then I opened OOo writer and inserted the text there - all worked well. I also opened new session of gedit, and also all successfully inserted the text. Then I again opened the newly created file on the desktop and tryed insert the text there - still cannot do it.

I repeated with another text from another webpage - all worked the same way.
