Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
[Firefox-3.0.1 Hardy]
I have on many occasions experienced floating boxes behaving weirdly in firefox 3. For instance I had to install the "goodbye snapshot" greasemonkey script because firefox turned the rubbish from snapshot.com even more rubbisher to the point that it would make pages unviewable. I can't reproduce every problem I have ever had right now, but I can at least start with one of the ones I have encountered today.
I am attaching two screenshots: one of http://
I also had some strange trouble with the links on the homepage of ing.be to its home banking pages, and this also involved weird mouseover behaviour. However since I am incredibly pissed off with ING at the moment I won't return their tonight to get screenshots. The reason I am pissed off with them has a lot to do with the quality of their home banking software which is truly Belgian in its broken and obstructive pointlessness, so it is quite possible that it is ING who have ballsed up their javascript as well, and that firefox is blameless. If you still want me to go to that page again, try me again in a few days.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.
