[Intrepid Alpha 6] Firefox window fails to align itself the first time

Bug Description

Running LiveCD Intrepid Alpha 6. Firefox window isnt positioned properly if compiz is turned on. Switching Compiz off, sets the window right. After that turning Compiz on, doesnt affect the window. I have attached screenshot.

Mine is a Dell XPS M1210 laptop. 12.1 inch widescreen with the resolution at 1280x800

I have the same bug. I usually have firefox maximized but when I open it, it starts with the window bar completely covered by the upper menu. I have to press F11 twice to get the window to its normal position.

Hello Aanjhan.

Have you already tried to reproduce this bug using the latest version of Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex?
In case that you have experienced this problem with the latest Ubuntu 8.10, could you please add your ~/.xsession-errors, /var/log/Xorg.0.log and the output of lspci -vvnn to your bug report as separate attachments?
