Binary package hint: compiz

I've now experienced a number of crashes when applying settings or enabling/disabling plugins in compizconfig-settings-manager. I'm sorry, but I don't remember specifically what I was doing when this crash occurred.

I just had the same problem occur in Jaunty when I opened KMPlayer. The crash occured when the beam up effect was used as the window opened.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
