adobe flash starts to play videos but then they stop.

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Looking at videos on sites like blogspot.com or youtube.com, the video begins to play, but then after a fraction of a second it stops. This behaviour is erratic. Sometimes the video plays fine. I have Adobe's flash player installed.
