Intrepid alfa 5 AMD64 live install crashes during import of settings, leaving /boot incomplete

Bug Description

Getting to 88% during install, import of settings. Grub itself is installed, but all the grub files on /boot are missing. Installing on a system with disk on SATA crashes. Removing SATA disk and installing on ATA works. Mixed SATA/ATA crashes installing on either. Installing on ATA and and then inserting SATA disk afterwards works. Then copying everything from /boot on ATA to /boot on SATA, removing ATA and rebooting works (but of course the disk name given to GRUB must be changed in the menu.lst).
