Cannot remember password to 802.1x wireless network

For whatever reason, NM cannot seem to remember network passwords between connections. It remembers other network settings such as the particulars of my 802.1x network at school but cannot remember the password so I have to type it in every time I connect to the network. I have installed all updates as of 2:15 PM 09/18/2008 (Central Time).
