Bug Description

Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS + standard Gnome/GDM @ AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ and nVidia Corporation nForce 430 motherboard (SATA + ATA HDD)

It takes around 1 minute to appear the logout setting window after clicking the logout button (on GNOME panel). It seems to be a problem only for main computer user, who is autologin user. Between click and window appears GUI is frozen. Gnome and any of applications don't react on any action (mouse click, keyboard), however it's possible to switch to text console. Top doesn't show anything suspicious there is a lot of memory and CPU power, HDD also looks quite.

Which log would you like to see?
