Bug Description

Binary package hint: f-spot

My current photos (./2008/2008-MM-DD Description/PICT9999.JPG) are nested in a path of 5 subdirectories, starting from my home folder. (So with /home/username it would be 7 subdirectories.)
When importing folder by folder, I always have to navigate through all these subdirectories, since f-spot does not remember the last import directory.

Due to Bug 236224, I cannot just import ~/Pictures, either, since I'll get hundreds if not thousands of duplicates *each time*.
