Can't install svg viewer plugin for firefox

Today, I have visited a webpage which has requested me to have installed a plugin called 'SVG Viewer 3'. As I hadn't it, I have been automatically redirected to http://
There you can download the plugin as you can download the flash plugin for firefox. But it doesn't work for me.
I have followed the instructions (untar and run install.sh) and the only thing that the script has done is creating a symbolic link.

Firefox doesn't recognize this plugin. It doesn't appear when I type about:plugins in the address bar.
Besides, Firefox doesn't output too much information when is run on a terminal so I don't know what else to do.
