Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin-musictracker

Please upgrade this package to 0.4.7 or later to fix the error message that pops up every 10 - 15 seconds when using it for the MSN protocol (that your nickname is being changed too frequently).

pidgin-musictracker 0.4.8 is available from http://code.google.com/p/pidgin-musictracker/ . Note that the 0.4.1 version currently used is from http://code.google.com/p/musictracker/ and is no longer maintained.

While I don't experience the name changing too frequently error, this version provides, among other things, support for the MSN 'now playing' field.

Musictracker has a new upstream, and is now known as pidgin-musictracker. Changing sourcepackage.

Marking fixed since 0.4.11-1 is now in Jaunty. It FTBFS, but that's a separate issue.
