Bug Description
One cool thing I miss from Twhirl is the ability to clear the message list. Means you don't feel as if the # of messages is overwhelming, because once done, you can just zap them away into tweet/dent-zero land. ;-)
Twhirl also has "mark as read", but that doesn't seem quite as useful. I can imagine using it would be about as satisfying as reading email, which is not exactly what microblogging is for. :-)

I've added this feature experimentally in revision 116. It still needs lots of testing.
