Bug Description

Binary package hint: prism

When launching a prism app, I get the waiting cursor, and a "starting [whatever prism app I try to start]" shows up in the window list, but the application actually doesn't start, and the waiting cursor goes away.

I'm using Ubuntu Hardy on an AMD64. Prism package is 0.9+svn20080610r15085-0ubuntu1~fta2~hardy.

Confirmed but medium as it's a PPA, not the version from the distro.

in the meantime, here is a workaround:

sudo sh -c "echo /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.0.2 > /etc/ld.so.conf.d/xulrunner-1.9.conf"
sudo ldconfig -a

you may have to adjust the xulrunner path and re-run ldconfig if/when that path changes.

-a is not a valid option for ldconfig.

Fixed with my last upload (0.9.1+svn20080916r18289-0ubuntu1~fta1).
The work-around is no longer needed.
