Bug Description
I upgraded Intrepid last night(9/10/08).The upgrade finished,and said to reboot.I did.Then....on reboot,my gnome desktop never loads,gives a "/usr/lib/
So..I reset the computer to force a reboot.When the error message ("/usr/
So then,being desperate,I changed sessions again to E16-Gnome.Works like a charm.Log back out,change sessions to E16-KDE.It works like a charm too.Try Gnome again--hangs computer.Try KDE again--kicks back out to login screen with no error.
Intrepid has been running fine ,through all the updates since the first Alpha release---until now. Still runs fine with the E16-Gnome or E16-KDE sessions--just not Gnome or KDE.
Hi, try to reinstall gnome-panels, "sudo apt-get install gnome-panel", afther that i get the panels back.
