Ipod Fails To Eject

Bug Description

With an Ipod Generation 5 30Gig(Ipod With Video) is ejected through Nautilus or
through the command line, this error is displayed:
eject: unable to eject, last error: Invalid argument
The ipod is no longer mounted to the filesystem, but it cannot be mounted again
until a reboot.
Required reboots = bad thing (tm)

It happens to me also and to many more (look in the forum). Why is this bug
flagged as unconfirmed? The workaround found up to now is to do a chmod +s
/usr/bin/eject. Is this the right way to go?

Sorry, forgot to mention that I'm using a 4th generation iPod (I get the same
problem through the firewire or USB) and Ubuntu Breezy.
