I can confirm that this is a problem.

The java applet appears to load but doesn't show anything. It appears to be a problem with Sun Java 1.6 and Firefox 3.0 with regards to Pogo.com games specifically.

I tried loading the 1.5 and OpenJdk offerings but Pogo detects that they are the wrong or incompatible versions.

Java games work fine on sites like Yahoo! Games, so it isn't a problem with Java and Firefox 3 by itself.

This may be a bigger bug than you realize as a lot of people that I would like to switch to Linux are Pogo.com game addicts. This is a show stopper in the conversion process.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest versions of Flash and Firefox 3.0? Thanks in advance.
