As this release only contains upstream bug fixes and translation updates with no new features, I believe it qualifies for a freeze exception.

Considering that the rationale for the freeze exception is straightforward and the filer of this bug is a MOTU, I'm not subscribing motu-release. This can be done if later necessary.

There's no need for a Freeze Exception as this doesn't contain new features. That's why ubuntu-archive is subscribed.

Hence why I placed the upstream changelog in my last comment.

At least the way I understood it: since you are a MOTU and this is a bugfix upstream release, you can upload after filing a bug with upstream changelog. IMHO I believe it's still consider a "freeze exception" even though it requires few steps. Let me know if I am mistaken.

I thought the process was that the developer decided whether it was bug-fix only
or not, so it wasn't necessary to attach any ChangeLog.diff or whatever.

But it says we have to attach the upstream changelog, still I decide whether I
need a freeze exception (so if I see it's bug-fix only, I don't, and I just
subscribe ubuntu-archive).

I've discussed the need to attach the upstream changelog to the bug report in
#ubuntu-motu with a few MOTUs and ~motu-release members. I'll start a discussion
in ubuntu-motu@ to propose changing that requirement.
