Bug Description

Binary package hint: epdfview

Bug 233905: Sync request: edpfview 0.1.6-4 from debian unstable (main)

Issue: Enable support for printing in epdfview.
The Intrepid and Debian Unstable debs have dependencies that are unmet in Hardy, so I compiled on Hardy from source with the --with-cups option (./configure --prefix=/usr --with-cups) and epdfview still did not display a Print option and Ctrl-P had no effect (including compiling latest svn and after removing the existing ~/.config/epdfview/ directory).

Thus, I suspect that there may either be something amok with the original source code available at http://trac.emma-soft.com/epdfview/wiki/Download (including svn) or that there's something else I am not yet aware of. So the sync request wouldn't seem to help for providing print capability.... Any ideas?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test a current Ubuntu 10.10. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could let us know.
