amarok 1.4.10 (using kde 3.5.10) (?)
amarok offers to open .pls file (streamed media, sound) then reports there is no available decoder

It seems you have to first download the mpeg playing codec. (Play any mpeg andit will automatically prompt for the download). After this is installed, the streaming internet radio will play. It does not play out of the box.
