Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

just what I say in the summary...now I can report the terminal message because i'm not using ubuntu at the moment, but i can say that were a "segmentation fault" message.

the package version is "network-manager 0.7--svn10080908t183521+eni0-0ubuntu2"

Sorry that i've opened a new bug but the others were similar but not equal than mine...

Of course sorry for my English :)
I'm using ubuntu intrepid (dev branch)

I had this too. Downgrading to the old version of network-manager fixed it.

The new version also wouldn't connect to a manually configured wired network.

Wait, twice, did you downgrade to the old version to get it working or does the latest one work for you?

I had to downgrade to the old one to get it working again. The current one doesn't work for me still, but I don't really want to test it again because it took me three hours to get my network connection working again after the current package broke it.

I tried re-installing it again. It now works. So it may have been a dependency or something that wasn't the right version at the time.
