Bug Description

I'm not sure if this is the right place to report/ask this. I'm trying to develop an application for LVM2 management, and have LVM2 libraries installed, but there are no LVM2 header files on my system. There is no lvm2-devel package available through apt-get or Adept, either. Is this a packaging oversight, or am I looking in the wrong place? Obviously, I could download the LVM2 source tarballs, but I prefer to install from Adept.

LVM doesn't have a library - it just consists of the standalone binaries. In any case, development libraries are named in the style libfoo-dev on Debian and Ubuntu - lvm2-devel is a Redhat-style name.
