not allowing to load update manager package

Bug Description

its saying the list of sources an not be read this usually means that your installed packages have unmet dependencies.then its telling me its found a bug and to report this bug against the update-manager package.i tryed to to do this but did not know how as im new with these computers.thank you

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. If this is still a problem, could you please add the log files from '/var/log/dist-upgrade/' to this bug report as separate attachments? Thanks in advance.
