Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

When clicking on the nm-applet icon with a large list of available networks, the menu starts scrolled to the wrong position. In particular, the menu is sized to take up the entire vertical size of the screen, and the very last entry of the menu "Manual Configuration..." appears underneath the "scroll up" button, so that the menu essentially starts as an empty grey widget until the user scrolls some or all of the menu down into view.

100% reproducible under hardy's network-manager-gnome 0.6.6-0ubuntu3

I think this problem is a GTK one, to be specific, a problem in the GtkComboBox. Open a pdf document and set the zoom to 400%, then click on the ComboBox saying "400%" and you will see that the 400% are in the middle and below there is a lot of free space.

Uh...sorry, this is not a ComboBox...but the issues seem related. There is an upstream bug for the ComboBox: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374871

It's likely that this problem has been fixed by the reimplementation of the Network Manager menu as an indicator. If it hasn't, please take a screenshot of the problem in 11.10 or Pangolin, attach it to this bug report, and reopen it. Thanks.
