Bug Description

I decided to take the plunge to Intrepid Ibex tonight, and that was a mistake: my machine no longer boots. After working around song OHCI bugs, my machine doesn't boot because it can't find the disk to boot from - I've tried toggling IDE emulation in my BIOS to no effect. I am dropped to busybox, and an ls of /dev/disk shows only my DVDRW device.

I did a regression test using git-bisect, and found that a2bd7274b47124d2fc4dfdb8c0591f545ba749dd was the bad commit. I patched my kernel using the attached patch (which is a functional revert) and it boots again!

Hi, can you retest with the latest kernel and let me know if the revert now fixes the problem? Thank you.

I can boot using the latest kernel. There are other problems now, but those are in other bug reports.
