Hi.

I tested the latest code with a mp4 sample file and the file was found.
Can you pull the latest code and give it another shot on this?

thanks

It's still not fixed.
What is "invalid" status supposed to mean in this case?

Moved to confirmed: just put some .mp4 files in a folder and select that folder browsing the tree in the left. If the folder contains only .mp4, a dialog appears stating "no files found", while if the folder contains .avi and .mp4, both are displayed in the right pane. (sorry if messages do not match, i'm using italian localization). Same problem using the button "select folder", above left tree. Using "select video" on the other hand is working as expected.

Installing python-kaa-metadata package fixed the issue

To Allan Rank: this is kinda confusing since the subdownloader package (2.0.16-2) depends on the python-kaa-metadata package in ubuntu. I'd guess you had some kind of installation problem earlier, which does not directly relate to the original bug.

modules/metada.py loads older mmpython module when kaa.metadata is missing. mmpython fails to recognize some mp4 files, thats why they were not loaded for me.

Now that subdownlaoder moved from kaa.metadata to pymediainfo I can't see this anymore, so I consider it fixed (as of 2.0.19-1)
