Subject: confirmation of bug

Hi,

I can confirm this bug. I initially reported it as #342326, thinking it
was a problem with mh-e. This is because if I do
  (require 'gnus)

it loads properly, but when I
  (require 'mh-e)

I get the void-variable described above.

thanks,
-Chris
