Bug Description

This webcam is supposed to be fully supported on linux, but only one program supports it, Ekiga. I'm not sure where to file all these errors, but this report is a combined one.

Cheese just shows a test image

Camorama fails to connect

xawtv seg faults

vlc gives [00000301] v4l demuxer error: cannot get channel infos (Invalid argument)
and fails to show any video

I am testing on both hardy and intrepid. I think I only tested camorama ekiga and cheese on both, but whatever.

If you would like more info/tests, on either intrepid or hardy, just ask.

I failed to test thoroughly in intrepid, and have discovered that cheese does run the webcam, albeit, somewhat poorly. I dunno, this is a pain.

Since things seem to bee improving a little bit, I'm gona just close out this bug, and wait and see...
