Bug Description
searched for and found g++ package. Would have expected double click to open or
offer extract but message popup that archive format not supported (shows as
Debian package)
file found entry is:
g++-4.0_

If you want to use g++ and don't know how, you should get a manual on
programming. g++ installed fine with apt-get/synaptic I guess since the .deb
file is on your disk.
