Bug Description

In OpenOffice.org, the "brochure" printing option, described at
http://www.redhat.com/magazine/011sep05/features/ooo/#tips (and in the online
help in the "Printer Options" dialog, cannot be used as intended in Breezy.

The gist of the "brochure" printing style is to print a portrait document with a
"half" page size (A5 in the Red Hat example) on a "full" paper size (e.g. A4) in
landscape orientation. However, it is impossible to set the paper orientation
different from that of the document in any of the print options dialogs.

Not sure what needs to be changed (looking at how Red Hat/Fedora does it may be
a start). It's possible to do this with OOo 1.1 on CentOS 4, and I presume
Fedora 3 and 4 (which has OOo 2) as well.

The openoffice.org2 package is unable to produce brochures because the help
text on how to generate a brochure tells you to format the document in portrait
mode and then when you print it to go to the printer Properties and change the
Orientation property to landscape.

The printer-properties-disable patch that is applied during the build process
removes the Orientation property from the options.

I had the same problem with OOo2 in Ubuntu Breezy. For the work I do, booklet printing is a critical issue. I immediately rolled back to 1.1.5 to recover this functionality. OOo2 Writer is worthless to me until this bug is fixed.

As OOo 1.1 will not be in Dapper anymore, I strongly believe it should be fixed before 6.04.
