mass subscribed members can't post

I set up a list to allow only members to post. I mass
subscribed myself to it using the web form, then tried
to post, but the post is held for admin approval
because mailman thinks I am not a member. But I am
listed as a subscribed member in the Membership List.
I have tried setting the subscribe_policy Option to
all three settings with the same result.

I need more information. Please attach a copy of a message
that gets held for approval. Also attach a verbatim copy of
the notification message (the one sent back to the user),
and a copy of the list member addresses.

I've not seen this as a problem in MM2.1, so for now, I'm
marking this as out-of-date.
