Thank you for your bug report. I've tried to reproduce it, but I can't reproduce in a custom build with debugging enabled. Is this still a problem for you? And if you run kompozer from the console, does it give any error message when crashing?

Hi,
Yes, I still get this bug. The command line just reports "Segmentation Fault".

Hmm I only have amd64 boxes which don't show this bug; it may be 32bit-only. Can anyone else confirm this?

@Ezra: there are lots of small bugs like this in Kompozer. Upstream is very quiet, but the maintainer appears to be working on a more stable codebase http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=2036429&forum_id=581742

FIX: You just have not to use Synaptic to get KompoZer. Instead get the latest release from the kompozer-website
http://kompozer.net/zip/
and download, unpack and start it. No install or compilation needed.

or follow Bruce:

No crashing anymore . You may even use it from usb-stick.

I can confirm this is fixed upstream in release 20081205, as Toby suggested.
