F-spot freezes computer

After long time without using Ubuntu, I decided yesterday install it back again.

All fine, and after some hours using it, my desktop freezed. One funny fact, is that I was talking to someone on Skype, and I was still able to talk to that person while it was freezed. After 1 min or so, the sound was gone too.

Today I had the same issue. I noticed when I tried to open some PSD file with F-SPOT PHOTO MANAGER, my system freezed. So, after reboot, I tried just to open F-STOP (without any file, just opened the program) and... there it is the cause of my freezing.

F-Stop is the reason my computer freezes. Always when I open it, all freezes here.

Both times it freezed, the audio kept working though. The second time when freezed, I was listening music, and the music didn't stop. Just I couldn't press any keys, move mouse and everything on screen was freezed.

-> I don't have any effects on, because my VGA doesn't support it. It's all off then.

thanks for the report, could you attach that file to the report? also can you run f-spot as: f-spot --debug &> f-spot-debug.txt perform the action to make it crash and attach that file to the report? the Xorg.0.log located at /var/log would be useful to have too, thanks.
