Bug Description

I installed KSnapShot via Synaptic on my Ubuntu box. I noticed the following problem of the box of one of my collegue : I dragged and dropped the KSnapShot launcher from Gnome menu to its desktop, but when running the shortcut I got an error. In French it says "Erreur lors du lancement de l'application. Détails : Le changement de répertoire «  » a échoué (Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type)", which I may translate in "Error when launching application. Details : changing path to directory " " failed (no directory or file of this type)."

I inspected the ksnapshot.desktop file produced by drag and drop : there is a line "Path=", and that's all. Filling the path with something like "/home/<user>" (where you must replace <user> by the name of a real user) solve the problem. I consistently reproduced the problem on my personal box.

Best regards

thank you for your bug report, what ubuntu version do you use? note that gnome-desktop contains the about GNOME dialog and a library and is not the right component there
