Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
I am using Hardy Heron (Ubuntu 8.04.1), and recently I turned on the Extra Visual Effects feature to have that rotating cube effect (Compiz Fusion i think) for workspaces. I'm not sure if that immediately caused this: the sizing buttons on the upper right corner of any window just disappeared. So any open window is by default maximized, and you can't resize or minimize the current open window at all. I turned off the Visual Effects and it all went back to normal.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.
