graphics do not look smooth - even on some major sites

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Some sites = graphics look fine sometimes.
Other sites = graphics are sketchy and look like very low resolution.
For example of poor graphics: www.jademalls.com (these graphics look fine in Explorer & Opera)

Note: If you tell me this isn't technically a "bug", then maybe you should think about changing the "Report a Problem" title. I'm using THIS form because I clicked on 'Report a Problem' ... Which made me go thru a sign-up process, and AFTER THAT gives me this "Report a BUG" page. Those are two different things to me. Why the difficulty with name continuity?

You mentioned Explorer, so I'm guessing that you are testing in windows too?

So, does this bug happen in both windows and ubuntu?

I'm having the same issue. Specifically on google. Here is what my homepage looks like in google. On other sites the graphics display fine. I'm guessing the issue is not with ubuntu but firefox 3 on linux in general.

If this is occurring when scaling (zooming) image it is most likely a duplicate of bug #217908

Sorry, I meant "when scaling (zooming) web pages".
