DOAP entries in Launchpad RDF file

It would be useful if Launchpad could use the DOAP schema for describing
projects and releases, as it already does for FOAF.

DOAP is already in use by other projects (pypi, moap, apache); more

We have an rdf file for projects (i.e. https://launchpad.net/launchpad/+rdf) and teams (i.e. https://launchpad.net/~launchpad/+rdf). Is that what you're looking for? If not, what the project rdf file is missing?

It doesn't provide any project data using the DOAP schema, which is used by a lot of other projects, but only using the custom Launchpad schema.

I'd like to second the call for using DOAP!

Without a schema to back it up, the Launchpad schema isn't very useful. Hopefully you'll get around to writing one eventually, but either way, certainly the only properties using it should be Launchpad-specific ones. All the more generic ones should be replaced with terms from existing vocabularies, which in this case would be covered by DOAP.

Sorry, that should have read "Without RDF to back it up...". In other words, https://launchpad.net/rdf/launchpad returns 404, not an RDF schema document.
