Bug Description

Many mp3 players need a .is_audio_player to be created to function correctly with rhythmbox and other music players. This is something that should not be needed, ubuntu should detect the music player itself withouth having the user do these kind of things.

I'm assigning this to hal. Anyway that file is only needed when hal is not able to detect that the device plugged is a mp3 player, so you should give the information for your audio player in order to upstream add it to hal.

Thanks for your report

I would like to second this issue and also add that my Sandisk Sansa-Clip player worked correctly in 8.10, but was not recognized properly after upgrading to 9.04. I had to make the .is_audio_player file manually (found this after searching the web for an hour).
