Bug Description

Text of title bar of windows in Compiz/Gnome are hidden, when title is in RTL languages, like Persian.

There are another bug for misaligned RTL languages at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/141472 but this bug is about hidden titles (maybe really misaligned!!) and not related to left aligned titles or centered ones.

I have Compiz 0.7.7 and no Emerald.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

Yes, this bug still alive!

I have Ubuntu 9.04 with latest nightly upgrades.
Kernel: 2.6.28-6-server
Gnome: 2.25.5
Compiz: 0.7.8

Bug 141472 has the case that the titles are hidden so marking as duplicate.
