Hi there, I have been upgrading and stuff and at a certain point I was prompted to install 2.6.27-2. Being a bit of a fruitcake and a happy testing donkey with virtually no ICT skills, I rarely refuse on any an upgrade. Anyway: 2.6.27-1 was behaving rather stable and was rebootable. Now I have the 2.6.27-2 installed, it is not really unstable, but it refuses to boot somehow. I really don't know why. I could not get virtualbox 1.6.4 sharing capability, after following this set of instructions: http://
normal boot of 2.6.27-2 hangs at first line: starting up
recovery mode hangs at: running virtualization kernel, bottom of first screen.
reboot does not work
Not a debian- installer- utils bug; moving over to the kernel as a best guess.
