For the last few updates, not sure how many update notifier has crashed at start up. Result is the adept data base is not notified of updates. There has also been silent failures in which notifier runs??? but does not initiate updates.

Suggest that the adept installer has a button to refresh the data base. Also please force adept to update the data base every time changes are made. A good method would be to set a dirty flag at the start of the Database and at the start and end of the change section. These two changes will prevent most of the bugs caused by conflicting module versions.
Currently I force synaptic, (not standard in Kunbutu), to update itself and then find all updates. Why can't I do the same with Adeptic. Please make it easy for the X Microsoft crowd.
