Empty portlet when marking branch as merged

Bug Description

When you mark a branch as merged (and possibly other state changes), you get an empty portlet on the right.

Where exactly? I can't see any empty portlets in the URL given. Could you attach a screenshot?

I know it is there and it is ugly. Perhaps this will go away with the work that Martin and I will do in a few weeks :)
