underscore in cell name invisible

When I name a cell with a name that contains an underscore, the underscore is invisible in the 'cell name' box as shown in the attached image.

This cell name box probably just needs to be made slightly larger -- even just by one pixel. The missing underscore makes things very confusing, especially as the underscore is often added automatically by OpenOffice, eg when you use 'Insert-->Name-->Create' with cell labels such as 'T1' or 'R' (stuff that clashes with the default cell naming scheme).

Reported for OpenOffice in Ubuntu Hardy.

Can you still reproduce this bug on Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid)? I can't reproduce this problem in Intrepid. I created a cell name T_Star and it displayed the _ just fine.

It's still a problem on Ubuntu 8.04. When Intrepid is released I'll let you know. See screenshot.

This bug is fixed in Ubuntu 8.10 but still present in 8.04. Not sure if that means it should still be open or not...?

No, generally only security bugs are fixed in older releases.
