ume-launcher refuses to launch on latest updates

After the latest updates and a partial upgrade on August 27th, 2008, clutter just fails on the ume-launcher. The terminal reports:

anthony@ubuntu-intrepid-laptop:~$ ume-launcher

(ume-launcher:7196): ClutterGLX-CRITICAL **: Unable to find suitable GL visual.
Unable to run Ubuntu Launcher: Unable to realize the main stageanthony@ubuntu-intrepid-laptop:~$

There is no ume-launcher, not even a partial load. Thanks for any help and hope this gets fixed in the next battery of updates!

After today's updates (29th), it starts but is much slower than it used to be.

The initial comment seems to indicate that your video card drivers do support 3D. The slowness of the launcher may be due to it running in software acceleration rather than hardware.

Could you please include the type of graphics card and driver version, plus could you attach the output of glxinfo.

Sorry for being awol; labor day weekend. After the latest updates it is working just fine, and any graphical problems can likely be attributed to the fun times being had with xserver-xorg-intel (if i have the package name right. (using Intel 950 integrated graphics)
