Maybe it's better to backport gnokii too? Then there will be no need to
change gnome-phone-manager sources for backport :)

Michael,

I have managed to successfully backport both gnokii and gnome-phone-manager, with no source changes. Would we need a separate bug report to backport gnokii so that we can progress this one?

I've uploaded both to my PPA for anyone who is willing to test.

It looks like this bug requests a backport from Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid
Ibex). However, as Intrepid is no longer supported, such a backport is
no longer possible.

This bug is being set to "Won't Fix". If you would still like to move
forward with this backport request, please re-open the bug and adjust
it to request a backport from a current release.
